A young boy recently moved to the country. He's never seen Livestock before so it was quite a fun experience going to the local petting zoo and learning some things about them. They look quite similar to People in some ways but they are just Animals. They can't speak. They don't have opinions. They provide goods like wool and milk and in turn People take care of them. It's just the way nature works.
The boy quite likes the Lambs. They are cute. And although they tend to stink, the smooth, sun kissed skin, they wear is different to the fur People are clad in. Not long after moving his Father revealed the surprise that he will be taking care of a small Flock himself, and will be gifting one to his Son so he could learn the new family trade as he grows up.
Although most common Lambs look very alike, there was one that caught the Boy's eye. Small chested. Cute. And she had a way of always keeping her gaze on the Boy as he moved around the field. He was happy to claim her as his new Pet. And that evening after brushing her hair and cleaning the mud from her skin he took her down to the far side of the field for some privacy.
That stink really does grow on you when you've rubbed it all across your body.
(This is a more wholesome sort of idea than Soul's Slaughter House set.) You can see it here, just warning for gore and snuff. For those who don't clue in, this is a setting where some Anthros are treated like Livestock. In this case, the Lambs are the Animals, and the Hounds are the People.
