You can't post that because...

So I found out a new interesting fact today, if you aren't using one of the fancy AI generator programs you have to pay to use to generate art work, you're not allowed to post things you generate on inkbunny. So those of us who use AI like chatGPT which uses OpenAI DALL·E to generate artwork third party are sorry out of luck, you need to go learn all the in's and out's of some highly complex program.
Basically think of it as I'm used the MS-paint that came with windows on my PC and the powers that be block your post saying "You need to go buy a copy of photoshop and learn how to use that if you want to post here!"
If I had the time and money for all that, I wouldn't be using the free version of chatGPT to start with...

That's not completely true. You can use sites like civitai or tensor dot art to gen stuff and post it here and both of those are free. It's not about paying to generate, it's about the generator being open source and not having any proprietary models, which is most likely the case for OpenAI and DALL-E(Not sure about ChatGPT but I assume it also uses proprietary models). You can also do local generation with stuff like ConfyUI or Automatic 1111 since all of those use publicly available models.

Do have a closer look at the rules please :) You somehow understood the opposite.
Inkbunny explicitly aims to prevent that anyone makes money through the AI services.

It is a learning curve to generate actually interesting works though, that's true. And it's logical. As soon as everyone could just promt, the bar has automatically risen.

That's literally the point of ai generation like chatgpt uses, making it simple and user friendly so ANYONE can generate images. Having to sit for hours watching youtube tutorials to understand how to work with a new program defeats the point.

Mh, I mean the easy way is fine for personal usage, but when you post publicly, you simply gotta do things not everyone can do, to get attention.

If attention is your only goal, ya. I get commissions because "I" want the pictures. I post them online so other people can share in them. If no one looks or favs, that doesn't effect me getting more. No one sends me donations to fund porn and its very rare I get fan art or gift art, typically from friends of mine. I'm in no way shaming any one for posting their work or commissions and then getting joy over the number of people who view/fav them or trying to post things to cater to a fan base but that's just not how I roll. If you look through my gallery you'll find that the content and topics is all over the place: size difference, all sorts of sexual prefs, sex swapping, egging, gore, vore, ect. That's because those were my whims at the moment when I commissioned them. If you look through a gallery and every thing is basically the same theme just with different characters, that's sort of boring and suggests its more for garnering a fan base than for fun and expression. Yes, some people do only like seeing one thing so its possible the artist focuses on a single kink but in the end, do it for fun and don't be those tiktok/X girls videoing their lunch for clicks.

I'd like an explanation of why any of that matters, specially given how other sites have banned AI art because of how many artists whined "My income!!!! They stole me work!!!!", as AI art is AI art. Its made worse when you see people using art packs to mirror actual artists' styles.
I'm an old 'all or nothing' sort of guy so saying "you can post this but not that simply because that is this" doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Have quality and content standards, as you should, but don't whine about the source.

The reason, as I understand it, is simple: First of all it's so the mods can verify the metadata and make sure you're not copying another artist's style or technique for the purposes of protecting the site from legal action. That's also why they require you to disclose your prompts and model you used. Secondly, IB doesn't want AI generation to become a walled garden than only a few people can get into, they want EVERYONE that wants to do it to be able to do it, that's why they don't allow the use of any models that aren't freely available. They also don't want people to make money off it and understandably so. Also regarding your issue of user friendliness, just about every generator uses the same parsing method, that being the Automatic 1111 parsing method so they all work very similarly, the only exception being ConfyUI but barely any online generator uses that. So if you can easily gen something in ChatGPT, you can also do so on Civitai, Tensor or any of the other online generators without any need for complicated tutorials. like, look at the stuff I've generated, all of that was done on civitai using publicly available models on an open source generator and my stuff isn't even the best I've seen. If I, a person with only surface level knowledge, can use that site then anyone can
