What is wrong with connecting to Inkbunny...

Over the past month I have been getting all of the following from every cache I can connect to here on IB Especially the VA , Dallas, Quebec cache..  Florida seems to me the most stable atm..

Error 500
Error 501
Error 502
Error 429
Error 426
Error 422
Error 472
Error 402
Error 414
Error 599

To the geeks of IB  Is is a fluke? or is it me?

I cannot even get to log in sometimes for days because it echos back user not found or bad password...

I don't have blond roots but wow this is getting irritable..

Banner message at the top, when seeing your journal:

" Inkbunny's database was performing poorly after a quarterly update, possibly due to query planner changes. Scheduled notices email is currently disabled while we work on the issue. Follow Inkbunny on X for updates.

We looked closer and it is actually to do with database replication, which we use as a means of backup and to power the recommendations feature.

There is an issue where the database software is trying to allocate more memory than it is allowed to (by itself, an internal limit, not us) when attempting to restart the replication. I'm trying various things and asking around to see if anyone else is facing this issue.

This is unrelated to any kind of cache issue. Florida doesn't exist right now so it will fall through to what it thinks is the closest content server; the one in use is listed in the footer on every page.

As for invalid user/password... that's probably on the user. ^^ But it might be an old password saved in the browser?

I am glad someone is on top of it..  As for Florida cache is there a specific reason its not there?

Food for thought, I have someone who has several servers in his office he uses to intercept data used in NBA and conference games data in a SQL server..  Huge rack of machines..  One is named "thumper" there is another named "Atticus" LOL He once said its all fun until you forget to plug in or turn on something...

They are NX3240"s  real nice considering they have never been turned off since 2019.. Its cool to see the shot clock and referees blow whistles to stop clocks and see the data in real time while watching it on television.

Sorry I missed the question here originally - essentially, we had a cache in Florida provided for low cost by a regional provider, eventually the deal ran out so we discontinued it, and it was more cost-effective to serve from major hubs, Virginia and Quebec, while still providing reasonable latency.

For quite a while, I've been noticing lag time it takes for images to appear.  Until I learned about this situation, I had thought it was being caused by the weak signal range in my area.

I switched cache locations after doing some more hopping around..  It seems its more stable now.
