Hello everyone, I'm here to warn you about a scammer that's recently been making their rounds and still is at this moment. Myself and probably quite a few other people on this site, some of which I've been in contact with, others not. But I've come to the conclusion that this person isn't going to stop doing what they're doing, and since it seems through discussion with staff that they are content with letting them sell adopts still for money and from a few I've talked with haven't even gotten the files for those characters yet. They delete comments or shouts on their page and adopts about when they're going to post commissions, and this isn't the first time that they've done it either. They were also know as chloeelaw and it can be seen in the art shown there and the journals there that they had to give out a bunch of refunds. I don't like making journals like this, but I feel the light needs to shine to keep things right and keep scams from showing up and hurting more people.
The person in question is m1lkreXxX, and as of right now I know of no one that's gotten characters or art from them that has received anything from this artist. I purchased a character from them back in February and was promised a front and back piece from them for the $60 that I paid them when I bought the character. I've tried several times to get said commission, sometimes it resulted in no response at all until I had given them a warning that I was going to talk to staff about this, only then was I granted an audience. I was told repeatedly over the course of the last few months "I'll have it for you today" but was never given anything in the end. I won't be asking for a refund, but for anyone that has gotten a commission from them or an adoptable that hasn't received anything I strongly implore you to request a refund from them at once or call your bank/paypal.
I implore you to not get any of their adopts or commission them outside of here as they try to do it on Telegram too. This artist seems to have a clear thing going on, giving big stories which may or may not be true (I have no info but it's also shown on their old profile so I have some skepticism) but it all just seems like it's way too similar now. I cannot stop anyone from commissioning them, adopting their characters, or doing business with them, this is merely meant as a warning to anyone thinking of buying an adoptable or commissioning them from other sources or directly.

Holy hell, I'm sorry I ever had BOTH accounts +watched, though I was never personally engaged in any commissions or YCHs, adopts, etc. That's just absurd and sickening, fuck. I'm sorry you and others have gotten so burnt, poor and pitiful misconduct can't be tolerated in that regard.

I was already planning to put him on my DNC (Do Not Commission) list because of a YCH that's been outstanding for the better part of a year and their almost total lack of communication unless repeatedly prodded, but it sounds like it's time to just write the whole thing off. Sadly I'm also in this situation, and while their journals may explain some things and I have no valid proof of these things happening it just always seems convenient or odd that when they start getting hit by people wanting stuff possibly that hasn't been finished yet some major life disaster happens? They had an old profile that is the same way, and I've talked to some people that have put almost a grand into commissions for this person 4-6 months ago with no return investment. They said in their last journal that they've started commissions but I don't really believe it until proof is shown.

I'm still working on my journal as well, personally I'm trying to still keep a level head but the final straw is that she is actively censoring people's discontent. I try to understand people are dealing with problems, and she has taken a lot longer than which is reasonable, but it's the fact she is censoring that's getting to me, I was already frustrated with not getting my adopts that I've paid $200 total for. She sent me the proper pre-edit adopts so at least there's that, but I haven't gotten all the bonus content yet. People have waited longer than myself, but I've been in this situation before so I get the frustration.
